Short Pants Boy

World War II had been over by a couple of years. The New Baguio Central School held its Grade 2 class photo session for Section A on a cool, pine-scented morning. My dad is the little boy squinting at the camera, wearing a dark shirt, fourth from left in the front row.
It was quite by chance that my dad came across this post-war sepia tint. It's one of two, which he borrowed from a fellow Baguio City High School alumnus for me to scan. Recently in my spare time I've been scanning and trying to restore family photos dating from as far back as 1924. Anyhow, you can guess how elated he was at rediscovering this little reminder of personal history.
